The fourth transnational meeting of our project LEAN (http://www.projectlean.eu/) was held in...

A highly successful conference was organised on Wednesday 24 September 2014 in Cyprus at the premises of the Nicosia Chamber of Commerce and Industry to present project LEAN. Project LEAN which is financed by the European Program Leonardo da Vinci (action transfer of innovation) aims to develop the skills of managers and entrepreneurs through the transfer of an innovative educational methodology, which is based on using “Analogies”.

During the conference examples of existing educational analogies were presented but also new ones that have emerged as an outcome of project LEAN and concern topics, such as, organisational structure, strategic management, business strategy and organisational behaviour. For every partner country that participated in LEAN project a new analogy was developed.

Learning and training on the basis of topics which apparently do not have a direct relationship with particular organization issues, allows entrepreneurs and managers to adopt a new approach to solving business problems.

The LEAN project team comprises of Eurosuccess Consulting Cyprus (coordinator), Nicosia Chamber of Commerce and Industry, CPIP Romania, OIC Poland and ISTUD Business School Italy.
